Tom Dele-Bashiru capped a stirring individual performance with a goal in his first start for Watford today.
The Nigeria U23 star opened scoring for Watford after just 12 minutes with a rocket of a shot, but Watford were held to a 3-3 by Tranmere Rovers.
Dele-Bashiru shone in midfield even though Watford will go on to surrender a 3-0 lead in the first half as Rovers fought back to earn a replay in the Emirates FA Cup third round.
Compatriot Isaac Success also made a rare appearance for Watford in this game.
Incidentally, this eye-catching performance by Dele-Bashiru comes amid speculations about his future.
He has this week been linked with a loan move to modest Belgian club Zulte Waregem.
