NPFL hotshot Sunusi Ibrahim will “very soon” join up with a Danish club, which is owned by a Russian, according to one of the agents working on the transfer.
Sunusi, 17, has been linked with Russian academy FDC Vista, but one of the agents working for the striker told SCORENigeria he is instead heading to Denmark.
“He is still a minor and as such he cannot sign a professional contract until he is 18,” the agent disclosed.
“He was only in Russia recently to meet with the owner of the Danish club, who is Russian.
“But his destination is Denmark, where he will go for training and adaptation until he is 18.”
SCORENigeria further gathered that the youngster, who has been widely compared to former Super Eagles World Cup star Daniel Amokachi ‘The Bull’, will move to Denmark as a free agent after his former club Nasarawa United failed to pay up his agreed transfer fee.
Last season’s joint NPFL top scorer, who has already represented the country at CHAN Eagles and U23 levels, is currently training in Keffi preparatory to his trip to Denmark.
