TikiTaka Nigeria are the proud winners of the 2024 Cup No 1 in Denmark after they defeated Store Bergan of Norway 4-1 in today’s final.
TikiTaka first won this invitational tournament in 2019, while Store Bergan were last year’s beaten finalists.
Striker Mahmood Abubakar hit a brace with wing backs Sulaiman Abubakar and Idris Kharmis also getting among the goals.
Overall, the Nigerian youngsters recorded 38 goals and let in only three goals to be deserved champions.
Brazil, Norway, Sweden, Finland, USA were some of the countries who were represented at this annual youth tournament.
TikiTaka Nigeria will next do battle at the Gothia Cup in Sweden.
They are yet to win this highly-rated youth tournament despite several spirited attempts.
