British newspaper The Telegraph has reported that Premier League champions Arsenal have opened negotiations with Galatasaray for the transfer of Victor Osimhen.
Arsenal focus shifted to Osimhen after their initial target, Julian Alvarez, could not be acquired from Atletico Madrid.
For Osimhen, his high salary continues to be a stumbling block to a transfer to the Premier League.
A bid from Al Hilal, for 130 million euros, a sum considerably higher than what Arsenal are willing to pay, has been rejected by Galatasaray.
A player-plus-cash or swap deal has also been suggested.
