Swedish club Hammarby IF have turned down a bid of about three Million Euros for youngster Akinkunmi Amoo from Danish club FC Copenhagen.
Hammarby want at least double that for the 19-year-old forward, who last season fired nine goals and provided six assists.
Hammarby sports director Jesper Jansson told Danish newspaper Estra Bladet: “I do not want to comment on other clubs. Of course, a player like Amoo creates a lot of interest. He was directly involved in 15 goals as a teenager in the Allsvenskan and has a huge potential.
“We are also not desperate to sell.”
FC Copenhagen have already signed another Nigerian, Paul Mukairu, from Turkish club Antalyaspor.
He cost 1.9 Million Euros and has signed a four-year deal.
