IFK Norrkoping will be smiling to the bank after they agreed to sell top scorer in the Swedish league last season Samuel Adegbenro for about three Million Dollars.
Adegbenro was Goal King of Sweden last season with 17 goals in 30 appearances.
And he is now on his way to Chinese club Beijing Guoan, according to NT-Sport.
Last season, Norrkoping bought Adegbenro for next to nothing from Norwegian club Rosenborg, where he was surplus to requirement.
The Swedish club will pocket more cash from the winger’s move to China after they re-negotiated a sell-on clause with Rosenborg.
The initial agreement was for them to pay the Norwegian club 20% of the transfer, but they have now got Rosenborg to agree between 10-12%.
Norrkoping have now also returned to Norway for a direct replacement for the Nigeria star.
