Last edition in France, the Super Falcons lost to the host team in a Round of 16 clash.
Australia and Canada will be the favourites to come through from this group, but the nine-time African champions will be expected to beat debutants Republic of Ireland to stand a chance of going through as one of the best losers.
They open their World Cup quest on July 21 in Melbourne against Canada.
The result of this match will most certainly define the Falcons World Cup campaign.
Six days later they will be in Brisbane, where they will take on co-hosts Australia.
They will stay back in Brisbane for their final group game against Republic of Ireland on July 31.
