First-half goals by Asisat Oshoala and Toni Payne ensured the Super Falcons shot past Senegal 2-1 in a 2026 WAFCON warm-up game played in Ikenne.
In a strong first-half performance, Super Falcons took the lead through Oshoala, who tucked away a penalty after 32 minutes.
England-based forward Payne then doubled the home team’s advantage just before the interval.
Senegal pulled a goal back four minutes from time.
Both teams will clash again Monday at the same venue as they step up their build-up for the WAFCON in July.
