Newcastle United have submitted a bigger bid, Chelsea have joined the chase, but Brighton look set to be the Premier League club who will finally get the signature of youngster Zadok Yohanna.
A source who is familiar to this transfer confirmed there has been a verbal agreement with Brighton on the player.
This was after the club agreed personal terms with the 18-year-old winger.
“An agreement is an agreement,” he simply said while not willing to give more details.
It was further gathered that the boy’s camp are more comfortable with Brighton because he will get game time, like the likes of Simon Adingra of Cote d’Ivoire got when he played there.
“He is a young player who needs to be playing and not be sent out on loan to a smaller club and lesser league,” SCORENigeria was told.
