Kenneth Omeruo has maintained the Super Eagles will not throw away a lifetime opportunity to the champions of Africa again.
The Turkey-based defender won his first AFCON title in 2013 and he said he hopes for a repeat tonight at the expense of hosts Cote d’Ivoire.
“We want that special feeling again – the feeling of being a champion of Africa,” declared Omeruo, who has represented Nigeria at U17 and U20 levels.
“We have not gone this far to throw it away now. We have thrown everything into the six matches we have played here.
“We will give more than 100 percent against the Ivorians.”
Kick-off tonight in Abidjan is 9pm.
