All Super Eagles players and officials in Austria for friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia will today undergo Coronavirus test.
“This Covid-19 test has been made mandatory by FIFA,” disclosed Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye.
“The tests will be conducted 24 hours before each of the matches.”
The squad will repeat the test before Tuesday’s clash against Tunisia.
Genk striker Paul Onuachu and Samuel Kalu from Bordeaux are the players in camp who tested positive for Covid-19 at their respective clubs before now.
There are 26 players in Austria for the matches to prepare the team for next month’s 2021 AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone.
The Eagles take on African champions Algeria tomorrow night, before they face Tunisia next week.
