Super Eagles have recalled Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi for next month’s friendly against Brazil after he recovered from a hamstring injury, which forced him to miss last month’s friendly against Ukraine.
Coach Gernot Rohr has also recalled Granada midfielder Ramon Azeez after he last featured for the country at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The Eagles have also listed uncapped Peter Olayinka, who features for Sparta Prague, and Glasgow Rangers Joseph Aribo, who now remains a major injury doubt after he suffered a nasty head injury at the weekend in action for his Scottish club.
Nigeria will clash with Brazil for the second time in a friendly slated for October 13 at the National Stadium in Singapore.
The Super Eagles lost 3-0 to the five-time world champions in Nigeria’s capital City Abuja in 2003.
