The Super Eagles will take on Saudi Arabia on October 13 in Portugal as part of their preparations for 2026 World Cup qualifiers the following month.
The NFF today announced the friendly against Saudi Arabia in Portimão, Portugal.
The Super Eagles will be home on November against Lesotho, before playing away in Zimbabwe in a second game to begin their qualification campaign to the 2026 World Cup to be hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico.
South Africa, Rwanda and Benin are the other teams in Nigeria’s qualifying group.
Saudi Arabia’s Green Falcons, who play Mali’s Eagles at the same venue four days later, have never played Nigeria at full international level.
The venue of the friendly is the Estadio Municipal de Portimão, in the Algarve, which is the home ground of Portimonense S.C. and can seat close to 10,000 spectators
