Super Eagles new call-ups Usman Mohammed and Salim Lawal Fago were put through a special training routine in the team’s final training before today’s AFCON opener against Tanzania.
The two players were put through a drill by the fitness trainer before they later joined the rest of the squad for full team training.
Midfielder Usman, 31, was a surprise inclusion to the final squad after he featured at the 2016 Rio Olympics, while Croatia-based striker Fago featured at the 2023 U20 World Cup in Argentina.
