Recently-capped Super Eagles defender Ryan Alebiosu has said Blackburn Rovers could turn their season around with some crucial back-to-back home wins.
Rovers have plunged into the relegation zone in the English Championship as they have failed to win in their last five matches – losing three and drawing two.
They are third from bottom of the table with 28 points from 27 matches, a point away from safety.
Today, Rovers welcome Watford in continuation of the Championship, before they then host Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday.
Alebiosu has recovered from a cut in the leg he suffered at the AFCON in Morocco and he is now looking forward to help his team bounce back to top reckoning.
“Everyone’s eager and everyone is coming back, so we’re looking forward to these next three home games,” the 24-year-old ex-Arsenal man told RoversTV
“We’re all trying to be as ready as we can.
“That first win is something the group needs and I’m sure we will kick on and go from there.
“Wins will bring everyone together and I think these next three games all being at home is only something that’s going to benefit us.
“I hope we can use that to our advantage and build things from here on in.
“It’s a tough time right now, but having that bond will all get us through it, especially with the connections we have amongst the lads.”
