Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, who has dropped to No 3 goalkeeper at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt, will stay for another season on loan at Cypriot club Omonia Nikosia from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.
In January, Uzoho, 20, joined another Cypriot club, Anorthosis.
However, his time at Anorthosis was marred by a documentation scandal that almost cost the club dearly.
He has also previously played on loan at Spanish second division club Elche.
The former Golden Eagles shot stopper was a shock choice as No 1 at last year’s World Cup, but a series of blunders have since cost him that exalted position.
