Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has asked for patience from Nigerians and that he will soon score his first goal for the Super Eagles.
Victor Boniface, 24, has yet to score for the Super Eagles since his much-awaited debut in September 2023 against Sao Tome & Principe.
He has made 12 appearances for the national team without a goal to his name to the frustration of most fans.
“9ja plz be patient with me. The goal will come,” Victor Boniface posted on Instagram
This week, he played three minutes for the Super Eagles in a 1-1 home draw with Zimbabwe, before he returned to club duty to score his eighth Bundesliga goal against Bochum.
