The Super Eagles may face several withdrawals for the forthcoming AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone after Kenneth Omeruo became the latest call-up to be injured in action for his Spanish club CD Leganes.
Omeruo was replaced in the second half after he suffered an injury while in action against Mirandes.
The extent of the injury will be ascertained later this week.
Already FC Nantes winger Moses Simon is a major doubt for the AFCON qualifiers after he suffered a groin injury in the weekend’s clash against champions PSG.
A scan is expected to determine how long he will be sidelined.
The Super Eagles welcome Sierra Leone on November 13 with the return leg in Freetown four days later.
