Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma will very likely leave German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim next month.
At the press conference before the match against Hamburger SV, coach Christian Ilzer confirmed that there have already been talks between the defender’s agents and the sporting director Andreas Schicker to prepare for the 30-year-old’s departure.
The Nigerian international joined the club in July 2013 and has a contract that runs until June 2026.
This season, he has made only two appearances in the Bundesliga.
His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m.
