Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona has quit Croatian club HNK Gorica after his contract ended and will not be renewed.
The 28-year-old Oboabona, who won 44 caps for Nigeria mostly under coach Stephen Keshi, is now a free player after his contract ended on May 31, 2019.
He joined Gorica in September 2018 and made 14 appearances for them.
He has previously played in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
In February 2018, he was released by top Saudi club Ahli seven months after he had cost them 1.8m Euros from relegated Turkish club Rizespor.
He is now valued at around 650,000 Euros.
