Besides Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins, another Kaduna-born player Suleiman Abdullahi ‘Daddy’ will also be playing in the German Bundesliga in the new season after promoted Union Berlin rewarded him with a permanent deal till June 2020.
He cost Union Berlin 500,000 Euros after they took up the option to buy him on a permanent basis.
Last season, the former Flying Eagles striker played in the German second division with Union Berlin on loan from Eintract Braunschweig, who have slipped to the third division.
He scored two goals and provided four assists in 19 appearances for Union Berlin.
He has previously played for El Kanemi Warriors as well as Norwegian club Viking FK.
