Just after he recovered from a deep cut at the 2025 AFCON, Ryan Alebiosu has again been hit by another injury setback.
The Super Eagles defender was forced out of Blackburn Rovers English Championship match against Hull City after he suffered a hamstring injury.
Rovers boss Valerien Ismael has issued an update on Alebiosu after the right-back came off with a hamstring injury at half time during the defeat against Hull City.
“He has a hamstring problem so we need to assess him,” the head coach disclosed.
“Hopefully he’s not that bad, he said he’s not that bad, but let’s see how it goes. We need to assess him and there can be more information in a couple of days.”
