In a dramatic end to the latest transfer saga involving Ademola Lookman, Atalanta have given the player permission to travel to Spain for a routine medical to complete his move to Atletico Madrid.

Late Saturday, it looked like a major fallout between club and player after Ademola Lookman accepted to join Turkish giants Fenerbache, while Atalanta preferred he moved to Atletico.
Atletico coach Diego Simeone then spoke to the Super Eagles star and the Spanish club reviewed his proposed salary upwards for Ademola Lookman to accept to now switch to La Liga.
Transfer Expert Matteo Moretto has now given the latest update on this very fluid transfer.
“Ademola Lookman will travel to Madrid today to undergo the medical examination with Atlético de Madrid,” Moretto reported on X
“The negotiation is 100% closed.
