Finidi George has been sent forth to his new post as Super Eagles coach at a special farewell dinner organised in his honour in Aba.
The event attended by journalists and top dignitaries, was staged at the Chaka Lounge of the Panyu Hotel and Resort in Aba.
The Super Eagles coach said he enjoyed his two years at the club and will remember his time and friends in Aba.
Finidi was presented with a commissioned painting of his portrait in Enyimba colours.
He led ‘The People’s Elephant’ to a record ninth NPFL team last season.
Enyimba are again challenging for the championship this season.
They are third in the standings with 53 points from 32 matches, four points behind leaders Enugu Rangers.
