Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has a long list of players who are eligible to play for Nigeria and he hopes he will soon get some of them to play for the team.
His list of prospects include midfielders Lesley Ugochukwu and Carney Chukwuemeka, who have both been loaned out by Chelsea this season, as well as Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu.
He told SCORENigeria that he has not yet contacted these players as he hopes the NFF make the first contact.
“The player in Southampton (Ugochukwu) is on loan from Chelsea, while the other player is also on loan from Chelsea to Borussia Dortmund,” he informed SCORENigeria
“They are both good players even though the one at Dortmund has often had to battle injuries.”
He also spoke highly of 22-year-old Atubolu, who has set a new record of going 577 minutes without conceding a goal in the Bundesliga and has represented Germany at various age levels.
