Imoh Ezekiel made a name for himself at top Belgian club Standard Liege and even got called up by the Super Eagles.
He soon ended up at Al-Arabi, who later loaned him to Standard and Anderlecht. His career took a sharp dip after his Belgian spells. He also played for Konyaspor (Turkey), Las Palmas (Spain), KV Kortrijk (Belgium), Al-Jazira and Al-Dhafra (United Arab Emirates).
But now 31, the forward has in recent times featured in the rather strange league in Nepal and Romania.
He signed a contract with Lalitpur City Football Club in Nepal. He played for the club from November 2023 to February 2024, where he scored six goals in 11 matches.
After that, he played for the Romanian club UTA Arad for about half a season. There he scored two goals and two assists in 16 matches.
It appears the forward has become a plaything for agents who mainly think more about the money and not the player’s career.
