Egypt, who will tackle the Super Eagles Tuesday in an AFCON opening group game, have been hit by Coronavirus with goalkeeper trainer and another official affected and as such will not travel with the team to Cameroon.
Egypt legendary goalkeeper Essam El Hadary, who is now the team’s goalkeeper trainer, has tested positive.
Also, the team’s warm-up game against DR Congo was cancelled at the last minute.
Like the Eagles, the seven-time AFCON winners will fly directly to Garoua on a special flight.
