Joe Aribo today conjured a brilliant individual goal that could only have been scored by all-time great Diego Maradona to take away the disappointment of a pre-season loss to Villarreal.

In the 64th minute, Aribo danced his way through several Villarreal markers all on his own before he curled a left-footed beauty into the far corner of the goal.
It was a much-needed equaliser and it was also Aribo’s debut goal for Southampton after his big-money transfer from Scottish giants Rangers.
The 10 Million Pounds transfer fee Southampton paid for the exciting midfielder now appears to be a “steal”.
However, Villarreal still went ahead to win the friendly 2-1.
Aribo’s fellow Super Eagles teammate Samuel Chukwueze was an unused sub for Villarreal.
