Genk are struggling big time of late and may as a result start striker Cyriel Dessers for tonight’s clash at Charleroi.
Genk are third in the standings with 43 points from 28 matches.
However, they have lost three of their last five games amid speculations about the future of their Dutch coach, John van den Brom.
The coach is now expected to make some changes to his starting XI as he tries to save his job.
Striker Dessers could well be one of these changes.
The 26-year-old Dessers, who was his hometown club’s biggest signing last summer when he moved from Dutch club Heracles for four million Euros, has scored four goals in 22 appearances.
But he has only started five matches in the league no thanks to the form of fellow Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu.
