Stephen Odey’s misery at KRC Genk may soon come to an end after reports suggested the Belgian club are willing to let him go on loan to French second division club Guingamp.
According to top journalist Sasha Tavolieri, Genk and the French second division team are negotiating about the striker.
Guingamp want to loan Odey for a season with option to buy thereafter.
Odey moved to Belgium from Swiss side FC Zürich a year ago for 3.5 million Euros, but he has struggled to impress.
He has yet to score in the league in the 201 minutes he played for Genk.
This season, he has failed to make the matchday squad in the team’s first three league games.
