Victor Osimhen is due in Turkey this week after the final details of his transfer to Galatasaray from Napoli were completed, according to Sky Sports Germany.
This is the most expensive Turkish league signing as it eclipses the 25 Million Euros Besiktas paid for Orkun Kokcu earlier this summer.
Various reports suggested that Osimhen will land in Istanbul to a hero’s welcome Friday to sign his new contract.
Galatasaray are currently in training camp in Austria, but the striker will not be joining them until he has completed his paper work.
The deal is 75 Million Euros to be paid in three installments – 40 Million Euros immediately, while the balance has to be paid by July 2026.
There is also a Five Million bonus to be paid Napoli should Osimhen score at least 35 goals in the new season.
Galatasaray, who this week raised their capital investment to close to 170 Million Euros, cannot sell Osimhen to another Italian club for the next two years.
In the event they breach this agreement, they will pay a hefty fine of 30 Million Euros.
Napoli will also receive 10% from the future sale of the Super Eagles star.
Osimhen has already agreed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year that will pay him 18 Million Euros a year.
It has been reported that with sponsorships, image rights and tax breaks to the club, he could even earn as much as 30 Million Euros a year.
