Simeon Nwankwo is now joint top scorer in Serie B after he scored again for promotion-chasing Crotone.
‘Simy’ was the match winner in the 1-0 home win over Pordenone Monday night.
It was his 18th goal of the season and he is now tied on the same tally with Perugia striker Pieto Iemmillo.
His current haul is four more than he managed last season.
The Super Eagles striker has previously been crowned Goal King in the Portuguese second division.
Monday’s win boosted Crotone’s promotion hopes as they are now on 61 points from 34 matches, five points clear of their closest rivals to retain second place for automatic promotion.
Crotone last played in Serie A two seasons ago.
