Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi will play in what has been labelled as “the richest football match in the world” when his club Hull City do battle at Wembley for a chance to play in the Premier League next season.
The Playoffs final is slated for Saturday, May 23 with experts estimating that the overall winners are guaranteed at least 200 million pounds courtesy of promotion to the Premier League .
Ajayi played the entire Premier League Playoffs semifinal second leg as Hull City stunned hosts Millwall 2-0 to make it to the final against either Southampton or Middlesbrough.
He was a free agent signing for Hull City last summer after another English Championship side, West Bromwich Albion, did not give him a new contract.
