Francis Uzoho lived his dream at ‘The Theatre of Dreams’ against his favourite boyhood club Manchester United, ‘Force of Nature’ Victor Osimhen returned to action with fire, while Victor Boniface catches the eye with goals in both the Europa League and Belgian league.
5.Rasheedat Ajibade
The Super Falcons forward opened her goals’ account in the new season in super style when she netted four goals against Sporting Huelva. At the last WAFCON in Morocco, Ajibade was the shinning star even as the Falcons lost their crown and barely qualified for next year’s World Cup. The hope is that she sustains her form for Atletico Madrid because Nigeria face a very tough World Cup draw after they were seeded in Pot 4 with the weakest qualifiers for Australia and New Zealand.
4.Ademola Lookman
The Look-man goal celebration has continued in the Italian Serie A after the Super Eagles forward again emerged the match winner against Sassuolo to keep Atalanta within striking distance of table toppers Napoli. Lookman has now scored four goals and provided three assists. You have to believe him when he said he is enjoying his football and life in Italy since his arrival in the summer from German Bundesliga club RB Liepzig.
3.Victor Boniface
The 21-year-old former Flying Eagles striker has taken Belgium by storm as many had predicted following his summer transfer from Norway. This past week, he scored twice for Union St.Gilloise to salvage a 3-3 draw at home with Sporting Braga for them to stay top in their UEFA Europa League group. He then followed that up with a goal for his club in a 6-1 trouncing of hosts KV Oostende in the Belgian league. Fans are already singing his praise and it looks like Belgium will be his launch pad for bigger things, just like a certain Victor Osimhen.
2.Victor Osimhen
Napoli won with style without him and on his return Osimhen also proved he knows his way to goal after he scored in the UEFA Champions League, before he proved to be the match winner at home against Bologna in Serie A. He has now scored four goals this season – one in the Champions League and three in Serie A. Competition for first-team places is even fiercer this season as this new Napoli look good to go all the way in both Serie A and the Champions League. Don’t bet against them especially as they have Osimhen in full flow.
🇳🇬Victor Osimhen strikes again!

4⚽️ in 8🏟 (6 starts) across all competitions.
His 2nd left footed goal of d ongoing 22/23 season.
Also, more markedly this is the 1st time that Kvaratskhelia & Osimhen will combine for a goal.

1.Francis Uzoho
The Super Eagles goalkeeper played a blinder at Manchester United, the club he has supported as a boy, to get almost everybody talking. His coach at Omonia Nicosia said he was “world-class” and he was also praised by his idol and United goalkeeper David de Gea after 12 top saves. His rating at his Cypriot club has most certainly shot up and he will now be expected to play a bigger role even on the return of the injured veteran No 1 Fabinho. The Super Eagles can only be better for this as they could now have a match-fit goalkeeper to count on.
