On a weekend of several bright individual performances, Moffi was far and away the best Nigerian performer in Europe after his fifth goal in as many matches sunk champions PSG in the French Ligue 1 for relegation battlers FC Lorient to inflict one of the biggest shock results of the season. The young striker condemned super stars Neymar and Mbappe to the losing side.

In a campaign riddled with injury and Coronavirus, the winger fired his third goal at championship chasers Lyon. This is already an improvement of last season, when he barely managed a goal in 20 appearances amid rumours Bordeaux wanted to offload him.
2.Sadiq Umar
UD Almeria can start dreaming of an automatic return to La Liga thanks to the goals of their Nigeria striker, who scored again in a comfortable home win over Castellon to take his Segunda Division haul to 11 goals. He has now scored a total tally of 20 goals in all competitions this season after he also netted six goals in Serbia before his transfer to Spain. Almeria are now pressing Espanyol for the second automatic promotion slot as they both have 45 points each.

There is simply no stopping the left-footed striker as he came off the bench to score his fifth goal in as many matches. It was the match winner against champions PSG. From his own half of the pitch, he latched on to a clearance from his team’s defence and sprinted clear on goal, before he coolly slotted home his sixth goal of the season. He now looks too cheap for the record eight million Euros the Ligue 2 champions paid for KV Kortrijk in the summer. Lorient will hope on more of such interventions to lift them clear of relegation worries.
