This past week belonged to the Super Eagles strikers as they banged in the goals from Italy to France, to Turkey and Scotland.
5.Terem Moffi
He scored his 11th Ligue 1 goal of the season for OGC Nice to hold hosts Olympique Marseille to a 2-2 draw. He got an impressive individual rating of 7.4. He again came big when it matters most against one of the top traditional clubs in France. It was his fourth goal against OM to match the same number of goals he has scored against perennial champions PSG. This tally underlines his consistency in France since his transfer in 2020. His club Nice are now fifth on the table.

4.Cyriel Dessers
He was again the match winner for Rangers to stay within striking distance of leaders Celtic as the chase for the Scottish championship gathered more steam. The Super Eagles striker netted his 20th goal in all competitions with a header at St.Mirren. That is not bad for a man playing his first season in Scotland. His club remain three points behind local rivals Celtic.
3.Paul Onuachu
‘Big Paul’ is back with a Big Bang after he fired a hat-trick for Trabzonspor to shoot down Gaziantep 4-2 in a remarkable comeback win. The giant striker has now scored 12 goals and made four assists in the Super Lig to boost his confidence after his misadventure in the Premier League with Southampton last season. Trabzonspor look good for the UEFA Europa League next season now as they are a distant third from front runners Galatasaray and Fenerbache.

2.Victor Osimhen
The striker kept his nerves to score from the penalty spot against AS Roma. That goal looked like it will be a priceless match winner only for Tammy Abraham to pop up and snatch an equaliser and a point for his club. Osimhen has now scored 14 goals to make him the third leading scorer in Serie A behind Dusan Vlahovic (16 goals, Juventus) and Lautaro Martinez (23 goals, Inter Milan).
1.Ademola Lookman
He is the most outstanding Nigeria star of the past week. He scored a goal and an assist in midweek for Atalanta to cruise into the Coppa Italia final at the expense of Fiorentina. He then scored a brilliant solo goal for his club to outscore Empoli 2-0. That was his ninth Serie A goal this season. With four rounds of matches to the end of the season, he could still surpass his 13-goal tally which he achieved last season.
