Victor Osimhen will quit Napoli at the end of the season and the best option for the Italian club could be to sign a striker, who has already been dubbed as ‘New Osimhen’.
According to Spanish newspaper El Demarque, Napoli want to replace Osimhen with Samu Omorodion, who has shone in La Liga on loan at Alaves.
It is not yet known whether that will be on loan or on a permanent transfer.
A big-type striker like Osimhen, Omorodion, 20, has netted nine goals and provided an assist in 33 La Liga appearances for Alaves.
His parent club Atletico Madrid have a release clause of 90 Million Euros on the striker, who was born to Nigerian parents in Spain.
However, Atletico could take less than that amount to let Samu leave.
His contract is till 2028.
