Victor Osimhen is back at his predatory best and so Napoli are three points clear at the top of the Serie A table, while another match winner Taiwo Awoniyi again carried basement club Nottingham Forest on his broad shoulders to go past Liverpool the club who signed him as an 18-year-old but never gave him a chance in the many years he was there.
5.Ola Aina
The defender scored his first Serie A goal since February 10, 2019 (more than three and half years ago), for Torino to upstage high-flying Udinese 2-1 at the weekend. The road win lifted Torino to the top half of the table. He has settled down in Italy after speculations in the summer that he could be headed back to England again.

4.Paul Onuachu
The giant striker scored a second straight brace for Genk at closest rivals Antwerp. He has now scored a total of 13 goals vs Antwerp. He has netted eight goals this season, making him joint leading scorer in the league, and Genk are four points clear at the summit of the table after a 3-1 win at Antwerp. Onuachu followed up on his double in a 6-1 rout of Westerlo in midweek. All his goals this season have come this month. And it is not a coincidence that Genk have shot to the top of the standings around the same time.
3.Alex Iwobi
He was Man of the Match as Everton demolished visiting Crystal Palace 3-0 with him providing two assists. He has now provided five assists in the Premier League this season since manager Frank Lampard started playing him in central midfield. Everton fans are now lavishing all manner of praise on the Super Eagles star after they were previously very critical of his contributions. The reward is that Everton will soon give him a new and improved contract.

2.Victor Osimhen
The Super Eagles star striker again showed pure class to get Napoli past AS Roma in Rome in a feisty Serie A clash. His super blaster from an acute angle ensured Napoli go three points clear of AC Milan in the league standings in Italy. He has scored in his last three games and has now four goals in Serie A and a goal in the UEFA Champions League. He is in the form of his life.
1.Taiwo Awoniyi
Liverpool signed the striker when he was 18, but he never got to play an official game for them. He will be the man to inflict the Merseyside giants their third loss of the season with his third Premier League goal. This will be his second match winner for Nottingham Forest after his lone strike against West Ham also gave them all three points earlier in this campaign. Forest manager Steve Cooper will do well to make Awoniyi his first-choice striker as they fight their way from the foot of the table.
