5.Asisat Oshoala

The Super Falcons star came off the bench to score her 20th goal in the league this season for Barcelona Ladies to beat Sporting de Huelva 3-0 on a day they were again crowned champions of Spain. This is Oshoala’s fourth straight league title and she has equaled her league tally of last season, which won her the top scorer prize. She now has four matches to outscore leading scorer Alba Redondo of Levante, who has 24 goals thus far. Dominant Barcelona are also in the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

4.David Okereke

He scored the opening goal for Cremonese to draw 1-1 at home with Verona and keep alive their survival hopes in the Italian Serie A. It was his sixth goal in the league this season, but his club have six rounds of matches to fight their way to safety. They are seven points from safety.

3.Mohammed Tijani

Former Flying Eagles striker Mohammed Tijani was at his best for Czech club Banik Ostrava as he fired three goals to help them beat hosts SK Sigma Olomouc 4-1 on the final day of the regular season. The 36 Lion FC product scored in the 10th minute to give his side 1-0 lead. He then doubled their lead 2-0 with another goal three minutes later. The big striker sealed the win with his side’s fourth goal in the 80th minute. He has now scored eight goals in the league and one in the cup game. His club will now do battle in the relegation playoffs.

Maja – 16 goals and counting with Bordeaux

2.Josh Maja

Bordeaux stay on course for a prompt return to the French top flight courtesy of the goals of the Super Eagles striker, who netted his fourth goal in as many games at Velenciennes. He has now scored 16 goals in Ligue 2 and his club occupy the second automatic promotion slot with five rounds of games to the end of the season. Promotion back to Ligue 1 would mean the forward took the right decision to stay back in France and not return to England.

1.Gift Orban

He came off the bench to end a run that saw him go several games without a goal as Gent beat Westerlo 3-1 in a Belgian league playoff clash. This win came after Gent threw away the chance to feature in the Championship playoffs on the final day of the regular season. He has now scored 10 goals in 11 league appearances and Gent lead the playoffs ahead of Standard Liege. Should they win the playoffs, they will return to play in the UEFA Europa Conference League after they crashed out at West Ham in the quarterfinals this season.
