Golden Eaglets fullback Yahaya Lawali has been voted by CAF as the Man of the Match against Zambia.
Nigeria, captained by Lawali after Precious Williams was replaced, pipped Zambia in a keen contest to record an opening day victory in Constantine.
The Mahanaim FC of Abuja defender also featured for Nigeria at last year’s WAFU qualifiers for the U17 AFCON in Ghana.
He is great at going forward, while also ensuring he carries out his primary assignment, which is to defend the goal.
His versatility means he could play as right back, left back or even a winger.
