On a weekend where the big guns in the major leagues struggled to fire, Odion Ighalo was back among the goals after a long-term injury sidelined him for many weeks.

5. Shuaibu Ibrahim

The experienced striker has continued to prove he knows his way to goal in the Norwegian second division with his sixth goal in seven matches for Kongsvinger. He also provided the assist as his team beat HamKam 2-1. Kongsvinger are pushing for a promotion playoff spot with three rounds of matches till the end of the regular season.

The former Nigeria U23 forward came off the bench to score for struggling Belgian second division club KSV Roeselare to upset table toppers Union Saint Gillois 3-0. It was his second goal in nine appearances this season. Last season, he fired seven goals.

The out-of-favour Eagles goalkeeper was the hero for South African giants Kaizer Chiefs to advance in a cup game at the expense of Cape Town City. He saved a penalty if the penalty shootout for his team to go through 4-2 on penalties after fulltime scores stood at 1-1.

Oshoala has continued to score goals for Barcelona Ladies after she found target in a 5-0 thrashing of Logrono in the UEFA Champions League.

1.Odion Ighalo

The retired Super Eagles striker is back to the business of scoring goals after a long-term injury as Shanghai Shensua won 2-1 at home against Dalien Yifang. Ighalo has now scored his eighth goal in 13 appearances. His club have now climbed to 11th on the Chinese Super League.
