Kayode made the most of his loan spell to Gaziantep from Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk by scoring 10 goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season, before he headed to another Turkish club Sivasspor.
This was after Gaziantep could not match the wage demand of the man whose goals helped them stay up in the top league.
He scored four goals in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League with Sivasspor, who narrowly missed out on advancing to the Round of 32.
The 27-year-old striker has thus far made 11 appearances in the league this season even though he is still waiting for his first goal for his new club.
He is a fast and direct-playing striker, whose dream is to return to La Liga in Spain, where he failed to crack it a few seasons ago with Girona.
‘Larry’ has done enough to earn a recall to the Super Eagles at a time when the team are always on the lookout for options in attack.
