Real Sociedad have booked medical tests for Sadiq Umar this morning to complete his transfer from fellow La Liga club UD Almeria.
It was also understood that paperwork is being prepared with Almeria on a €20m deal plus €6m add-ons.
He flew out of his base on private jet along with childhood friend Nura Mohammed and his agent.
The 25-year-old Sadiq will sign a long-term deal in the next hours.
Real Sociedad had earlier shown interest with an opening bid few days ago after they considered him the main striking option following the departure of Alexander Isak to Newcastle United.
The UD Almeria shooting star was also linked with Villarreal CF after the Nigeria international netted 18 goals to win his club promotion back to la Liga.
He has also attracted interest lately from Getafe also in the Spanish top league as well as top Portuguese club Benfica.
