Home team Elche will go on to peg back the visitors though for a 1-1 draw.
Sadiq was UD Almeria top scorer in the last two seasons in the Segunda Division with double digit figures, but questions have been asked whether he could do same in La Liga.
Almeria recorded their first point in La Liga after they lost their opening game of the new season to champions Real Madrid.
However, it is left to be seen whether they can hold on to their top scorer at least till the end of the summer transfer window.
