Roma loanee Sadiq Umar opened scoring for FK Partizan to defeat Yeni Malatyaspor of Turkey 3-1 at home in a UEFA Europa League qualifier Thursday night.
Umar, who last season flopped at Glasgow Rangers, scored after just four minutes via a simple tap-in.
In another Europa League clash, former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi made his official debut for Turkish club Trabzonspor as they came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Sparta Prague.
Mikel started the game, but was replaced in the second half.
He was booked in the 32nd minute.
Compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme played the entire game on the left side of attack for Trabzonspor.
