Sadiq Umar future in the air after Valencia back out of transfer

The future of Sadiq Umar is up in the air after Valencia pulled out of a transfer for the Super Eagles striker.

Last season, Sadiq enjoyed a fine loan spell at Valencia, where he fired six goals in 16 appearances.

However, Valencia have pulled out of transfer negotiations with the player’s parent club Real Sociedad on account of a high asking price.

The 28-year-old striker is also surplus to requirement at Real Sociedad amid reports of interests from smaller Spanish clubs like Elche.
