Gernot Rohr has said the experience of the Super Eagles won them a tough game against Guinea with Man of the Match Kenneth Omeruo adding it was crucial to win this AFCON Group B tie.

Omeruo rose high to power past Guinea on 73 minutes and lift Nigeria to the Round of 16 in the port city of Alexandria today.
Nigeria remain top of the group with six points from two matches, while Guinea and Madagascar are on a point each.
“The players’ experience made the difference and I am happy with my team,” Rohr said after combative clash.
“It was a difficult game and Guinea have a strong and organised team.”
Omeruo, who won the 2013 AFCON in South Africa, said the priority was to win.
“The most important thing was to win,” he said.
“It was a difficult game but in the end we won.”
The Eagles final group game will be on Sunday against debutants Madagascar.
