Victor Osimhen is not the top target for Manchester United as Saudi Arabian clubs are in the forefront to sign the Super Eagles striker this summer, according to a top Transfer Expert.
Manchester United reported interest in Osimhen has come mainly from Turkey, where the striker currently stars for Galatasaray.
However, England-based journalist Ben Jacobs has now reported that Liam Delap of Ipswich Town is the priority transfer target of United with the hope that Matheus Cunha comes in from Wolves as first-choice striker.
He therefore maintained that Saudi Arabia is the most likely destination of Osimhen.
“As reported, Saudi Arabia is leading the race for Victor Osimhen, who wanted to move to Al-Ahli last summer” Ben Jacobs said on social media.
“Reports from Turkey about a deal with #MUFC are far from the truth.
“Manchester United’s top priority is Liam Delap, with the hope that Matheus Cunha will arrive as first-choice striker.”
