Wilfred Ndidi will stay put at Leicester City after all, according to latest reports.
Transfermarkt first reported that the midfielder has finally quit the English club after seven years.
However, top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Ndidi is set to seal a new contract with Leicester City after his initial contract ran out last month.
The new deal is for three years and it will include a release clause.
“Wilfred Ndidi, set to sign new deal at Leicester City as final details are being discussed — then all sealed,” Romano reported.
“Exclusive details: contract until June 2027, three year deal… with release clause also included.
“Despite more than 5 bids, Ndidi decides to stay and sign.”
