Napoli and Manchester United have made great progress in the proposed transfer of Alejandro Garnacho to Italy and this could in turn mean Napoli will give the Premier League club a discount should they return in the summer for Victor Osimhem.
Napoli sports director Giovanni Manna disclosed that Manchester United tabled the most serious bid for Osimhen in this winter transfer window.
However, Osimhen booted the deal out of touch, which further angered the Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
II Mattino has reported that Napoli will give United a discount on the sale of Osimhen should Garnacho come through to them in this window.
“The fate of Osimhen weighs heavily (on Garnacho transfer)as he could be the first piece of the United reconstruction in June,” the Italian newspaper reported.
“Napoli, if the ok for Garnacho were to arrive, would be ready to reduce the Nigerian’s release clause currently set at 75 Million Euros.”
